No visible files from inside

Forums:

After compiling "Version : 2.5.0-beta1" I am not able to see any of the mp3 files from the mocp list. Though both directory structure and playlist files are visible. Do I need to take care of some extra stuff before compiling or in config file.
I am on os kubuntu12.04 with kernel 3.2.0-29-generic. Help needed as I am missing my fav player :(

You need to post a bit more information. Probably you didn't compile any decoder plugins due to missing devel packages. Check your configure summary for details (or config.log).

Thanks. Went again through the configure logs, both the summary thats shown while compilation and config.log.
Was missing some development essentials there and now its up and working neatly :)
Will go through each of the features and come back soon.
Can we have a little bit more on various errors generated and what it could mean for noobs like me.
