Please help!
I use moc/mocp all the time. Very dependent on it, but it stopped opening last night. When I try to open it from the command line, it hangs after "Trying Alsa..."
Here's the output from mocp -D:
$ mocp -D

I don't understand at all why this might have happened since I run moc on a netbook that I've manually crippled—it is unable to access the internet or any other network. I pull things over from my connected computer infrequently when I need to install something new, but I haven't done this in some time and moc had been working just great before last night.
Thanks for any help!

Is it possible to add OnStart?
I have a script that I want to run when moc starts and I want to stop when moc stops.
Is there another "nice" way to do it?

Hi,
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, MOC 2.5.0-alpha4 via the Ubuntu Software Center.
I have internet radio files in .mp3 and in .pls extensions. MOC can play these internet radios perfectly. But I cannot add these files into the playlist. I can only add a single internet radio into the playlist, then I must clear it in order to add another items. Or if I have an existing playlist, I cannot add internet radios into it.
When pressing the a button, I get this with red foreground: "You can only add a file using this command."
But I can add other files into the playlist.

I recently moved back to Slackware 13.1 from Xubuntu 10.10. I had been using the Ubuntu-supplied version of MOC with no issues at all. MOC does not come in the default Slackware install, so I used the slackbuild script from www.slackbuilds.org, which is 2.5.0 Alpha 4. The issue I am seeing is my system volume control works against the "master" mixer channel, and MOC uses the PCM mixer channel. I have tried to change the mixer settings in the .moc/config file, but when I change the ALSA mixer setting to make MOC use the master channel, MOC displays "Master 00%", and the volume can't be changed.
This issue isn't crippling, MOC still works, I just have to remember to turn the PCM mixer channel back to 100% when I'm finished using MOC.
Btw, I'm using the example config file that was included with the source package.
Did I miss anything? Is there some way for me to make MOC use the master mixer channel, like the rest of my system?
TIA

MOC no longer reponds to keyboard commands. This is the only app with this problem on my system which is Ubuntu 10:10, and has been like this ever since upgrade to 10:10 version, so probably something to do with the moc version in the Maverick repos.
