playback/prebuffering cycle

Hi, I am trying to play the following internet stream:

http://tx.sharp-stream.com/icecast.php?i=planetrock.mp3

but it keeps cycling between playback and prebuffering. Adjusting the prebuffer in the config file just varies the period of time before before it prebuffers again.

I can play this stream without any problems using sox, so I don't think it is a network/wifi issue.

This happens on two different devices, one running 2.5.2 and the other 2.6-alpha3

I have tried renaming the .moc folder to generate a fresh setup, but this does not help.

I only get "Stream error: HTTP response code said error". When I try to access it in any other way I get error 403 forbidden.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I am running a playlist (.pls) that has that as the only feed.

The stream seems to be locked, you have to be signed-in to listen, that's why we get 403.

As far as I am aware, you do not need to be signed in to listen:

Yeah, I was wrong.

From the website:

It looks like you’re trying to listen to us from outside of the UK. Due to legal reasons, our streams are not available where you are.

I've just tried again, but this time connecting via VPN. The streams still drops occasionally, but the timing now appears to be random. Sox playback is still not affected.
