No decoder plugins have been loaded

Forums:

Just compiled and installed moc but on trying to run it I get this message:

No decoder plugins have been loaded.

Obviously something elementary but I don't see how to do this. There are decoder_plugins in the source directory but where are they supposed to go?

Probably no decoder plugins has been built. The configure script displays a list of supported formats at the end, check it. I gues you don't have required -devel packages (like libmad0-dev).
