Search the help screen, or use flag to print help output to stdout

I find myself often wanting to search the help screen for text to locate a specific command. It would be great if / searching worked in the help screen (e.g. /playlist in the help screen would only show commands containing the word "playlist"). Case insensitive searching would make sense. Alternatively, a command line flag could be added which output the help screen text to stdout, allowing users to grep the output to find commands.
