Streaming web radio with moc?

Forums:

how would you do if you wanted to stream the music you play in mocp to a web radio server?

is there a feature for this now or do i have to send the stream to shoutcast in some other way?

AFAIK, MOC does not have such a feature.

My best guess would be to find a streaming application that can stream audio captured by the soundcard (and then capture what MOC plays). But I'm not into streaming and do not know if there is one...

I think that jack output can do that.
At least jack is low-latency audio server so you may use it with another application which will forward it elsewhere.
