home folder is separate from music files

Forums:

I have almost all music outside my home folder.
How do I direct moc to other directories?

Using Ubuntu 9.4 Jaunty
(Also, I don't see the conf.example anywhere in the .moc folder)

from another thread I took the idea of going to the particular /path/etcetera and put mocp in front of it.
It works :-)

Now still no conf.example

You may use the i command and enter the directory path (with completion). You can also set MusicDir and StartInMusicDir options, seew config.example included with the MOC source.

I have looked and looked again, including hidden files, but still cannot find the config.example anywhere.
EDIT: of course 10 seconds later I found it :-)
It was zipped.
