dsd native

Hi jfc,

I refer to this discussion by opening a new topic

have you given any thought to supporting dsd files natively, without decoding?

it would be nice...

How do I use -y --sync ?

I have moc installed on my Debian system, and saw that there's an option for -y, --sync in the man page.

This copy of the interface will synchronize its playlist with other clients. This option is called SyncPlaylist in the configuration file.

I then took a look at the config file:

New Sound Card routine

I've been running MOC with an old usb card with no problem for a years but I now have a new audio mixer with a 24bit / 96kHz USB Soundcard on board. I've hooked up to the new sound card and it's registered as my default soundcard with Alsa mixer after it's name, but when i reboot I get the 'no valid sound driver' text. The bit rate of the new card at 24 is more than the old 16 bit one so do I need to get into the config file and start editing the soundcard entries or something similar?

Equalize

Hi,
I downloaded equalizer presets and it is working fine.
However I am wondering what I should put/change in the file 'equalizer' where I can see this:
Active: 1
Mixin: 0.250000

Should I put 'Active 0 or 1?

Thank you.

How run MOC

I installed this player, but comman 'moc' in terminal dont found

Two questions

Running openSUSE.
If I do:
mocp -S
mocp -a aplaylist.m3u
mocp -p
It plays.

1. The problem is that it takes the playlist and sorts it by file name. I don't want it sorted. How do I stop it from doing that?

2. Can I play a stream that is in the form "https://stream.kpig.com/listen/<magicnumber>.mp3" using it?

Show the year in the tag-infos

Is there a way to say moc it should show me also the year of the album?

I tried it with %y and %Y in the config, but this did not work.

It should look something like this:

Bandname - Title - Album, Year
