auto rebooting MOC after power loss

I lose power in my area occasionally and would really like my system (RPi3) to auto reboot like I can with the bios under other pc's i have. I realise this is RPi specific but wondered if anyone else had pursued this with a RPi at all?

I found someones work around for dealing with this and it read:

"I managed to get past this issue by installing the operating system on a usb stick, I used a "cruzer fit" stick due to how small it is.

How to move several files at once in the playlist?

Hi! How do I move several files in the playlist together? For example, there are several albums in a long playlist and I want to move all tracks of an album that's listed on the top down to the bottom of the list. I've found "Mark the start of a block" and "Mark the end of a block" in the help screen (mapped to ' and "), but these keys don't seem to have any effect, so I end up moving each file individually -- which can be quite tedious.

MOC Plays only through headphones on PoP!_OS 19.10

Hi,

I'm having hard time to force MOC to play through speakers and I would need a hand troubleshooting this.

My audio HW:
Device-1: Intel 100 Series/C230 Series Family HD Audio vendor: ASUSTeK driver: snd_hda_intel v: kernel bus ID: 00:1f.3
Device-2: NVIDIA GP104 High Definition Audio vendor: ASUSTeK driver: snd_hda_intel v: kernel bus ID: 01:00.1
Sound Server: ALSA v: k5.3.0-19-generic

New Sound card but i've lost PCM volume control

I finally got my DenonUSB300 soundcard working with MOC, I changed the 'allow24bitoutput' to yes in config to get it going and it's sounding great - however unlike my older (non 24bit) soundcard seems i can't control the volume level from my keyboard anymore, I've checked/un-checked the PCM option in audio preferences on my raspberrypi3. The only other option 'clock source 41 Validity' didn't help either :-(
Can anyone shed any light on what i might be missing or am i back to manual volume control via the sound system again (please no!).

Have Internet Radio working, struggling to save url though

Hi, as it says i'm happy to get my radio through MOC and have tried using the ^u code to save the url (to the playlist?) and am having no joy. The radio is playing fine but i just get 'bad command' when I input ^u

Can anyone give me a steer please as i've searched it but can't make it work, what am i missing?

TERM environment variable

I noticed that when setting the current directory with the "go to a directory" command, the backspace key does not work in the path input field. This seems to be related to the use of tmux, which i'm always using, and more precisely it is the environment variable "TERM", which is set to "screen" by tmux. If I run mocp with TERM=xterm which is the default value in xfce Terminal then backspace works in mocp. As everywhere else backspace works AFAIK in tmux, there might be something related to mocp for this problem.

Playlist for Streaming Addresses?

Is there a way to create a playlist or other file list of streaming URL's so that one may select from a list of favorite streaming web sites rather than just music files? I'm asking for a blind friend who uses a text only Braille reader on Debian. Thanks in advance.

status plugin working, but odd slow refresh times for song info

Running i3 on Manjaro with py3status and the moc plugin script. All working fine - machine boots up, loads moc etc.

I have created a simple module that just shows the artist and songtitle. Clicking on it toggles the play/pause state of moc, and logging in anew the status info shows the (correct) restored state on pause.
