How can I archive bit perfect audio with moc? I have muisc files that are 32 bits and 192kHz and I want to play them with maximum quality? How can I do that?

I run moc with a denon soundcard (Denon Da-300Usb) and have many power cutst here. The soundcard powers down and doesn't come back on automatically - so moc is rebooting with no conection to it. The process is then turn on soundcard>reboot moc>select soundcard as defaul again>reboot moc and i'm good to go, I've had years of this and am longing to make it better.
Is it possible for me to hardcorde my soundcard in the conf file so then I could just power the card and reboot the system to get going again.

I suspect that this may be a hardware problem, since I am using an output that has no volume control, and I had to add a softvol for it in ~/.asoundrc.
First off, I normally use jack for music, but I also have voicemail files to play which are 8 kHz wav, and sound much clearer using alsa rather than jack.
The problem I'm finding is trying to work out the correct ALSAMixers to use.
I have "ALSADevice = default" and my ~/.asoundrc has default routed
to a Loopback, and then to jack and out through S/PDIF digital to the amp and speakers.

Hello,
I can't add this radio: https://stream.causecommune.fm/voixdulat_mp3
to my playlist. I guess it is because the ending is _mp3 and not .mp3
Is there a way to add it?
Thank you.

Hello all,
first of: praise: NICE JOB! :)
thanks for this nice no gui needed music player :)
the random shuffle function of mocp works perfectly
searching recursively through all subdirs and then playing all songs randomly from all subdirs :)
(VLC has an issue here... it seems not to really to recurse and shuffle, but starts playing with all songs it the top directory)
challenge:
trying to put together a script, that can auto start with the computer (under gnome2 mate desktop this can be nicely done via the gui)

Hi
Is it possible for moc to support gsm?
I have support in ffmpeg:
libgsm.so.1 => /usr/lib64/libgsm.so.1 (0x00007f90eeebc000)
and gsm-1.0.13-x86_64 installed.
I added a line to moc's config:
PreferredDecoders += gsm(ffmpeg)
However nothing shows when I'm in a directory with gsm files.
Thanks

It`s there a way to make "mocd -f " for example, to control a running session of moc , start faster? I want to create a car mp3 player using a raspberry pi zero, and moc is loading every decoder module even if i just use it for changing a song, for example. Maybe if i use the option -O to override module loading when for example i just wanna change song, but I cannot find this option. Please help

I load them from the left pane with A to play them.
- If they’re in PLS format this happens instantly
- If they’re in M3U format it takes ~5s, it doesn’t matter whether there’s just 1 streaming link in it or dozens. It also doesn’t matter whether the playlist lists streaming links or a local files.
