Hey,
I'm wondering whether it's possible to update which interface mocp is using for the "master" volume, on demand?
When I connect my computer to my bluetooth speakers, I have to go into sound settings, and choose the bluetooth speaker as the active speaker. However, when changing the volume, mocp is still controlling the old option; my computer's speaker.
Is it possible to get mocp to update to the new one, without restarting it?
Thanks

Hi,
the search is not working for me.
I Press "/" to start searching type "fo" and then it displays some matching artist with "fo". But when I want to go the next matching artist in the search result, nothing happens. Ctrl+g doesn't work. Neither any other key to which I remap the "next_search".
I am on Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca and run mocp 2.5.0-beta1.
Any suggestions?

I renamed some files in my music directory.
Problem is that the old names are still shown in moc. Rereading the directory with "r" doesn't work.
What to do?

Hi,
Is there any possibility to play only one channel from stereo recording? I've got some music audio files where drums are on left channel and guitar is on the right channel and I would like to play only one channel.

Hello, I just fresh installed Debian 7 stable with no desktop environment. First I tried to install moc via apt-get, but it installed a 2.5.0-alpha version, and I figured I should try to install the new 2.5.0 stable.
Per the "README" (http://moc.daper.net/node/87), I went through
apt-get install build-essential
apt-get install libdb-dev (Berkley db)
apt-get install ncurses-dev
apt-get install g++
The next part of the README to install plugins for audio format. All I really need, initially at least is mp3 and WAV.
apt-get install libmad0
apt-get install libmad0-dev
apt-get install libsndfile1
apt-get install libsndfile1-dev
I ran "./configure" and at the end of the returned text I received
MOC will be compiled with:
Decoder Plugins: flac sndfile vorbis
.
.
.
no mp3 or wav? Can someone help?
Thanks!
Jim

I'm currently playing music from my external drive using mocp
this is the folder's location: /run/media/user/FreeAgent Drive/Music/Zune
Everything works fine until I try to save a playlist.
After pressing 'V' to save the current playlist I get this error:
"Can't save playlist : Permission Denied"
Will entering an abs-path to a diff location let me save it?
