Here you can discuss everything related to MOC which doesn't fit other subforum.

Some time ago I contributed the MIDI-decoder-plugin to MOC. After using it for a while I experienced that playing or just extracting the time-information from some MIDI-files would cause segmentation faults.
Today I was able to track down the problem and it lies within the libtimidity-library. If you are experiencing segfaults with MIDI-playback you should visit the libtimidity project page (http://sourceforce.net/projects/libtimidity) and use the patch I contributed there (there is only one patch).
I hope package maintainers decide to incorporate the patch as there has been no development to the library for about four years...
This post has not much to do with MOC but the chances are good that MOC is the only active player using libtimidity... :-)

how would you do if you wanted to stream the music you play in mocp to a web radio server?
is there a feature for this now or do i have to send the stream to shoutcast in some other way?

perhaps the answer is obvious, but I simply cannot figure it out.
when I control-A to add an entire album, the songs are added to the playlist. If I control-C to clear the playlist during playback, the songs are cleared. Even though the playlist is cleared, once the current song is complete, I expect the music to stop (like most players) but the album keeps playing.
how can I clear a playlist and have it stop after the current song is done playing without having to manually stop the music?

Hi,
Does the latest version of MOC support asx files?. If not would it be very difficult to add?
