Tom's Audio Support

Forums:

Please add a TAK audio support, as it can be currently done with ONE LINE OF CODE in ffmpeg.c.
I created even a "branch":

https://github.com/icceland/mocp

I'm tired to compile my favorite music player on every new system to have *.tak support and I believe, some other users will be happy to have it too.

As mentioned in the "branch", seeking is a bit inaccurate, but works fine since months. Compiled on AMD and ARM and no bugs were noticed, so why don't have it in the stable release?

Kind regards!

Chocolate Sunset Theme

Forums:

Hi,

Here's a theme that I made that I find nice on the eyes. The theme assumes that your terminal has many colors.

Hi! I just wrote a new decoder plugin because modplug plays some modules incorrectly.
Grab it from github repo. Criticism and bug reports are welcome!

Youtube support (somehow)

Forums:

Hi,

i really like moc one thing that disturbs me was that i need to pipe the output of youtube-dl to the playlist and next time the links are no longer valid so i tried some hacking and build patch to allow moc to parse youtube links and play them as musik.

for me i currently only use youtube as musik library and now i can build playlist out of youtube links.

MOC unix socket client and OSD notifications.

Forums:

I wrote a python module that contains basic implementation of MOC client and sample script to display OSD notifications (works like a charm with internet streaming). This module talks with the MOC server via unix socket like usual MOC client and I hope, someone will find it interesting to use in development of GUI or WebUI clients. :)
