Radio stream srobbling

I found option "OnSongChange" in the config, it's work for toggle tracks. I can't send current track info to last.fm when i'm listening radio stream.

Buffer Settings for old Laptop

Hi

Running MOC on and old Dell laptop, pulling in music from NFS shares on my server over a wireless connection.

Can you please recommend the best buffer settings to use so that:

1. The gap between tracks is minimised
2. Playback is not disrupted by other minor activity on the laptop, e.g. using calcurse or mc
3. So that MOC does not crash and become unresponsive e.g. when playing if you try to disconnect from the server (Press q) nothing happens and MOC locks up.

Thanks, i think MOC is just great :)

moc freezes after song change

Hi,
time to time my moc freezes when I want to play another song. After I hit enter, moc comletely freezes.
This was happening on 2.5.0~alpha3-3ubuntu1 version. So I tried to compile stable 2.4.4, but nothing changed and error still remains. Below are some infos that will hopefully help. Don't know if it's issue only for my ubuntu, or my architecture..

thanks
Lukas

[ ~ ] $ uname -a
Linux delphinus 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:24:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

I configured mocp like this:

[ moc-2.4.4 ] $ ./configure --enable-debug --prefix=/home/delfin/local
...

MOC will be compiled with:
Decoder plugins: mp3 vorbis flac
OSS: yes
ALSA: yes
JACK: yes
DEBUG: yes
RCC: no
Network streams: yes
Resampling: no

After mocp freezed:

colordef and attribute issues

I don't quite understand how colordef works. Why is it 1000, and not something like 100? What do the numbers mean? I tried to produce gray with colordef gray = 500 500 500. And it said it was a bad color name.

I also tried black dim and dim black. Both resulted in a bad attribute error.

Load files to ramdisc before playing

Would it be possible to write a script, which loads mostly all files in the current playlist to a specified ramdisc? By doing so it would be possible to shutdown the harddrive for a while.

transparency

hi to everyone!

help me please to configure my moc to be transparent, i can find nothing on this site to make me understand how to do this except the comment for screenshot. it says: after switching to on-menu mode, configured with transparent theme.

i'm a beginner to linux and to moc, so please excuse me if you find this question stupid. what is on-menu mode? do i need to install some transparent theme individually?

i have configured my console to be transparent, but moc in it is usual blue, so my conclusion is that transparency needs to be configured separately...
