Here you can discuss everything related to MOC which doesn't fit other subforum.

what exactly does this mean? I know its a setup issue somewhere, because I've had the same version of MOC running on the exact same hardware before. I use resampling (set in config file) to make sure my digital output is at a sample rate my amplifier understands. Having just installed gentoo, and installed latest moc, I get this error. Its probably something wrong in the gentoo ebuild, but I thought I'd get some idea by asking here first.

Hi,
it would be great if MOC can read wavpack files in the future. It's a great lossless and free format but unfortunately, most linux players don't support it. >> http://www.wavpack.com for details.

I installed libid3tag, libmad, libsndfile, zlib all from source without any problem before installing
moc from source, again without any problems.
Now when I start mocp it doesn't list .mp3 files in directories...
How can I make sure it compiles with mp3 and wav support ?
thanks,
noob

Any chances for this feature being added? :)
I love listening to loops and MOC does it just fine … if there’s only one track in the playlist, that is.
Greetings ..

Hello.
If in ReadTags=Off-Mode, is there any way to hide everything before the last / in the playlist view?
If I remember correctly, version 2.3 shows filenames only.
Thanks and great program by the way.

I have some aac files that are wrapped into an mp4 container, I can play them in ffplay, but moc doesn't see these files and so I cannot play them back. Could/will there be support for the mp4 format?.

Hi, I tried to build moc from ports:
===> moc-2.4.0_1 requires C99 string functions in libc.
*** Errore code 1
As I am not really familiar with FreeBSD maybe someone give me a hint?
