Hello,
I am using moc for now 2 months, and I can say tat I like it a lot. The only thing that I am missing is how to play Audio CD's. Is there any special trick hidden somewhere, or it is simply not supported yet. In that case I hope the moc developers are thinking about ;-)
regards,
Harry

Hello,
I have compiled moc, librcc, libmad and libid3tag from sources, everything got built smoothly, but now when i try to start mocp it gives
root@thicky:/usr/src# mocp
Can't load plugin libmp3_decoder: librcc.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
FATAL_ERROR: No decoder plugins have been loaded!
i tried to do it with libtool but of no success:
root@thicky:/usr/local/lib# libtool -dlopen /usr/local/lib/librcc.so.0.2.3 --mode=execute mocp
libtool: execute: warning `-dlopen' is ignored for non-libtool libraries and objects
Can't load plugin libmp3_decoder: librcc.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
FATAL_ERROR: No decoder plugins have been loaded!
Before this i compiled it without librcc and it ran.
Need some help ..
Thanks.

I compiled moc with the new modplugin. But wher can I get modfiles or how can I even create some for testing?

I just realized that MOC fetches metainformation (title, artist, etc) from mp3-streams but seems not to do so for ogg-streams.
Is this a decoder-bug or a 'known feature' ?
When playing streams via ogg123 the information is available.
I have to admit that I tested only one stream, so maybe this works just not for this stream :

I would like to see the option to display and list files by their metainformation, instead of the filename. That way, files will be arranged by track order regardless of the filename format. I guess this would be a bit more complicated, but it would then be nice to have separate columns for artist, track, number, etc, according to the tag.

This is a feature request. Why not let user choose some features like shuffle and repeat modes by command line, as just done for something like next&previous_track, volume adjustment, etc...? It would be very usefull for those like me who use mocp as an excellent front-end for i/r remote controllers.
Thanks in advance and... go on this way: that's THE player!

Hi,
I've got a problem listening to my favorite radiostation. They're located here:
http://www.radio.pionier.net.pl/stream.pls?radio=radiotok
so i ripped the streams:
http://gdansk.radio.pionier.net.pl:8000/pl/radiotok.ogg
http://gdansk.radio.pionier.net.pl:8000/pl/radiotok3.ogg
and... nothing, unable to play from url. Could anybody check those sources and
solve my problem?:)
I'd be very happy:)
